Prudential RideLondon Classic - Race Overview

Stagiaire Caleb Ewan has impressed in his first appearance for ORICA-GreenEDGE at today’s Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic, featuring in the day’s winning break.

Ewan went with the winning move of 12 riders with just over 60km to the finish, before loosing contact as a result of a Philip Gilbert (BMC) attack in the final twenty kilometers.

Adam Blythe (NPC) won the race from a surviving group of five, Ewan dropping back to finish 44th.

“It was quite an aggressive race and Caleb did well to pick the winning move but just ran out of legs in the final,” sport director Matt White said.
