“I am ready to suffer! I return to the races about a month after the Tour of Slovenia and in these cases you never know how your legs will react.
The route is challenging and in Sardinia the wind is always an unknown factor to be carefully considered. I will try to give my best with a thought also on the upcoming Tokyo Olympics road race”.
Vittorio Algeri – Sport Director
“We start from Alghero with a good team that I’m sure can do well on the roads of Sardinia. Kangert will try to do well in the overall, while Edmonson will be our man in the sprints.
Together with the two of them, there will be highly experienced riders like Bewley, Bauer and Zeits, the young Hungarian Peák and Grmay who will be able to shine in the numerous climbs in Sardinia”
