The pathway to any goal is a long and complex one for all athletes. As Simon Yates gears up for his fifth attempt at taking the prestigious Giro d’Italia victory, he knows what it takes. He knows how much hard work needs to be done, how much sacrifice and suffering he will endure, and he knows that in any moment this can all be undone due to the natural adversities faced within road racing.
