Team BikeExchange-Jayco Line-Up:
Kristen Faulkner (USA)
Amanda Spratt (AUS)
Ane Santesteban (ESP)
Chelsie Tan (SPG)
Georgia Williams (NZL)
Urška Žigart (SLO)

Ane Santesteban:
“After the Tour de France I had some easy days to recovery, and I was soon feeling ready to start training again. I have had a really good block of training and the last sessions I have had good feelings on the bike, which gives me some confidence. I am really excited to start racing again and put in all the hard work I’ve done at home.

It’s a totally different course this year, doing a big loop of 127kms and then 2.5 laps in the final circuit. We know than in Ploauy everything can happen, arriving with a break or a bunch sprint. We have different types of riders in our team so we can play distinct cards in the race to fight for the win.”

Alejandro Gonzalez-Tablas (Sport Director):
“GP Lorient Agglomération is always raced hard and is always very aggressive, and I think we have a team that suits this type of racing.

We have a great team to look for opportunities and we know this race can easily end up with a breakaway coming to the line. We will need to be alert all day and we want to be present if any significant breakaways get away.

It’s a race that can finish in several scenarios, with a breakaway group, a solo attack or a reduced bunch sprint, so we need to be prepared and ready for everything.”
