RACE PREVIEW – GP Oetingen Women

Wednesday, 8th March – Belgium

Nina Kessler
“I am looking forward to Gp Oetingen on Wednesday. I have done the race a couple of times and it is a race that I like a lot. It has a bit of everything, there’s cobbles, usually wind, little climb on the course. It is always a hard race and a bit of an unexpected race, where many things can happen. We will have the team for all different scenarios, and we will hope that it will be a hard race that finishes in a little group, and we can play the game with the team. We will try to make the race hard, that is better for us and the type of team that we have starting.”

Martin Vestby – Sport Director
“We’re ready to continue racing in Belgium with some more one-day classics like the mid-week GP Oetingen, it is a good opportunity for us to race again and get the feel for the Belgium classics races. Last week we learnt a lot during Opening Weekend, and it was clear to see Paternoster had good form and hopefully with some better luck on Wednesday we can get a top result. We have a mixed team with three new riders, so these races are important for us to work well as a team and go through the process of racing. It is always quite an unpredictable race and with a mix of teams on the start line and we are sure it will be hard, and we are looking for some hard aggressive racing.”
