PER SEMPRE ALFREDO
Sunday 19th March
“I’m really looking forward to racing again after a good block of training, especially in my favourite country Italy. This will be my debut in this race which has recently entered the international calendar.
The course looks like it presents a demanding route through the hills around Florence, so I am expecting a challenging race. I have been training out in Spain for more than a week in the lead up to this weekend and I have good feelings for tomorrow.”
David McPartland (Sport Director):
“I like the races in Italy because they are always challenging, and they create a great selection in the peloton. We have a good team with Felix Engelhardt who is fast and in the finale he could be there with the best.
We also have two more young riders in David Pena and Rudy Porter, and it will be an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a very demanding route.”
