Binck Bank Tour
Stage 2: Blankenberge to Ardooie - Stage Details

After being Mitchelton-SCOTT’s top finisher yesterday, neo-pro Robert Stannard joined a move of six riders to form the day’s main breakaway on stage two at the BinckBank Tour.

The break was caught with five kilometres remaining ahead of the eventual bunch sprint, but not before Stannard claimed six bonus seconds in the golden kilometre. New Zealand’s Jack Bauer was the team’s top finisher today, rolling in behind Sam Bennett (Bora-Hansgrohe) who claimed his second consecutive stage win.
