Stage 2: Haifa to Tel Aviv - Stage Details

The first road stage of the Giro d’Italia has concluded in the expected sprint in front of massive crowds in Tel Aviv today.

Quickstep Floors’ Elia Viviani claimed the stage honours with Mitchelton-SCOTT’s two leaders Simon Yates and Esteban Chaves finishing safely in the bunch. BMC Racing’s Rohan Dennis stole the pink leader’s jersey courtesy of intermediate sprint bonus seconds.
