GP de Plouay - Women - Race Overview

Giro-Rosa stage winner Amanda Spratt sprinted to fifth place today for Mitchetlon-SCOTT from a reduced front group in the one-day UCI Women’s WorldTour race GP Plouay.

After a continuous flow of attacks in the final five kilometres, a small select group battled it out for the race win, with Spratt following a late move inside the final kilometres before opening up her sprint early and holding on for fifth place behind race winner Amy Pieters (Boels-Dolmans).
