La Route de France
Stage 6: Plombieres les Bains to Soultzmatt - Stage Details

In a repeat of yesterday's stage result, American Tayler Wiles had another solid ride today on the Queen stage of Route de France to finish in a respectable fourth place and maintain her second place overall with just one more stage remaining.

Today's penultimate stage saw the riders complete three tough mountain passes reaching up to 1200metres altitude which resulted in a fragmented bunch at the finish. ORICA-AIS once again gave it their all to support Wiles, keeping her in contention.

"It was a really hard stage today, nearly 3400metres of climbing in total," said sport director Gene Bates. "Coming into the final category two climb there was a flurry of attacks and that brought the solo leader back."
