ORICA-AIS wrapped up the tenth edition of the Route de France today with a second place overall for American powerhouse Tayler Wiles.
Wiles produced strong, consistent results throughout the eight-day tour thanks to the support of her ORICA-AIS teammates.
Today’s 113kilometre final stage concluded with a bunch sprint with Sarah Roylaunching into sixth place behind the stage winner Roxane Fournier (PC-Futuroscope86).
Sport director Gene Bates was overjoyed with the team's performance throughout the tour.
“The girls rode really well once again today, they didn’t miss a beat,” explained Bates. “Jess Allen was in a good move to start with and then for the main break of the day we had both Jenelle Crooks and Alex Manly in there.”
