Ladies Tour of Norway
Stage 2: Normandy to Halden - Stage Details

Amanda Spratt finished the Ladies Tour of Norway with a podium placing, third overall on GC, closely behind race winner Megan Guarnier (Boels-Dolmans).

The race stayed together throughout most of the day, with attacks quickly being reeled back in.  58km in the race Spratt and ten other riders escaped off the front, with a maximum advantage around 20seconds, but were pulled in, to then see another group go with 35km left.

The latter attack included Emma Johansson, as the nine escapees charged over the Queen of the Mountain.

"It was good, we were ambitious. We wanted everything today, we were going for a stage win and consolidating our overall positions."
