Vuelta a España
Stage 11: Cambados - Pontevedra - Stage Details

Recap:

Cameron Meyer posted the eighth fastest time in Pontevedra, one second behind race leader Joaquim Rodriguez in the only individual time trial of this year’s Vuelta a España. The 39.4 kilometer technical course featured climbs, corners, cobbles, descents, hairpin turns and constant undulations.

When Meyer crossed the line 53:53, he found himself in the hot seat. Compatriot Richie Porte (Sky Procycling) was the first to challenge Meyer, besting him by two seconds. Fredrik Kessiakoff (Astana) would later post an unbeatable 52:36 to win the stage.

“I’m happy with my ride. I did everything I wanted to do.” - Cameron Meyer
