Tour of Britain - Race Overview

Tour de France stage winner Matteo Trentin showed his form once again today to sprint to third place on the final stage of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain, despite being slightly out of positon in the final kilometre. It was Mathieu van der Poel (Corendon-Circus) who took the stage honours, claiming a third consecutive stage win, which was enough to deny the Italian Mitchelton-SCOTTrider the overall race victory.
