OVO Energy Women's Tour
Stage 2: Rushden to Daventry - Stage Details

Two-time Australian road champion Gracie Elvin sprinted to eighth place on stage two of the OVO Energy Women’s Tour for Mitchelton-SCOTT after going with the attacks over the final climb into downtown Daventry.

An undulating stage that was always going to against race leader and sprinter Jolien D’hoore, the Australian outfit controlled proceedings at the head of the peloton until the inevitable splits came over the tough finishing circuits.

Coryn Rivera (Team-Sunweb) took the stage win from a reduced group that lead over the final climb that included Elvin and the American now moves into the race lead ahead of tomorrow’s stage three.
