Canadian Svein Tuft was the top ORICA-GreenEDGE finisher in the individual time trial at the Road World Championships. Narrowly missing the top-ten, Tuft slotted into 12th place, 2:56 down on back-to-back World Champion Tony Martin (Germany).
The Australian duo of Cameron Meyer and Luke Durbridge finished squarely in the upper-half of the field, with Meyer in 16th place and Durbridge in 21st place. New Zealander Sam Bewley managed 31st place after having focused the first eight months of his season on track racing.
