Stage 9: Arras Citadelle to Roubaix - Stage Details

Mitchelton-SCOTT leader Adam Yates will enter the first rest day of the Tour de France in the top-ten overall having finished in the main general classification group on a dangerous stage nine today.

Yates was perfectly guided by his specialist teammates to finish in the bunch 27seconds down on winner John Degenkolb (Trek-Segafredo) on the much-anticipated stage that featured 15 sectors and over 20km of cobbles.

The 25-year-old now sits in ninth overall, one-minute 42seconds behind the yellow jersey of Greg Van Avermaet (BMC Racing Team).
