Trofeo Alfredo Binda - Race Overview

Tour Down Under winner Amanda Spratt had a strong sprint today in the third women’s WorldTour race of the season, Trofeo Alfredo Binda, taking fourth place from a reduced group.

The winning move of the day came from Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon-SRAM) who attacked away from a small group of 12riders on the final lap. In hot pursuit, 2018 new signing Lucy Kennedyhad a strong ride, coming close to catching Niewiadoma in the final kilometres but in the end it proved to be a little too much and the Polish rider was able to hold off the chase to claim a solo victory on a rainy cold day in Cittiglio.
